O The Gales Brothers é a banda formada pelos guitarristas Manuel (aka Little Jimmy King), Eugene e Eric Gales e lançou esse único trabalho em 1996.
"Left Hand Brand", título do álbum, é uma referência ao fato dos 3 irmãos serem canhotos.
Apesar de Eric Gales ser o mais conhecido e, possivelmente, mais talentoso do trio, aqui eles dividem os vocais e solos de guitarra fraternalmente (não podia deixar passar o trocadilho).
O disco é bom do começo ao fim e despeja 13 rockaços recheados de influências de música negra (blues, soul, funk). O ponto mais baixo provavelmente é o inusitado cover de "Talking In Your Sleep", música do The Romantics que fez relativo sucesso nas paradas pop na primeira metade da década de 80, mas nada que comprometa o resultado final.
Nunca achei esse disco prá baixar na net e só estou disponibilizando esse aqui porquê consegui comprar o cd depois de muita procura.
